Calcot Manor

When it came to designing the interior for this historic countryside eatery, the key was creating the perfect atmosphere. With guests choosing Calcot Manor for relaxation away from prying eyes, it was vital to have a seamless transition from the hotel and spa to the welcoming, elegant restaurant and bar.

We also sought to give the restaurant a fresh identity that remained sensitive to the building’s impressive history spanning seven centuries. To achieve this, we broke down the traditional barriers between kitchen, restaurant and bar to create an airy and vibrant interior space while ensuring restoration work remained true to the original spirit of every stone and beam.

Large windows flood the interior with light and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding gardens. A mixture of formal and informal seating creates a convivial ambiance, which is brought to life with a vivid colour scheme and immaculate attention to detail.
