    Key Purpose

    To deliver high quality, accurate and creative interior designs for private clients in line with the Sims Hilditch brand and design vision. With a natural flair and knowledge of fabrics and FF&E, this role has responsibility for research and selection of appropriate materials that fit within the concept design brief, budget and Sims Hilditch aesthetic.

    Responsibilities

    Effectively lead client individual design meetings and communication to both client and internal team

    Responsible for translating interior design concepts into creative designs, detailed working drawings, CAD, mood boards and other supporting documentation to fulfil both the brands design vision and clients brief

    Responsible for research and selection of appropriate materials that fit within the concept design brief and budget

    Effectively communicate with external contractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information to aid time management across each project

    Provide flexible support to senior design team and other interior designers across the business on day to day functions and client projects

    Key Skills

    A minimum of 3 years working in a similar studio

    Proficient in AutoCAD

    Natural flair and knowledge of fabrics and FF&E

    Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines

    Flexible and open attitude to new ways of working

    Self-motivated

    Ability to take initiative in response to direction

    Good team player, both assisting and supporting team members

    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

    Excellent organisational skills
