Interior Design – Maternity Cover Role

Based in state-of-the-art studios, we are a friendly and collaborative team that works on a wide variety of high-end interior design projects across the UK and overseas. We are a multi-disciplinary studio made up of interior designers, interior architects and dedicated procurement teams.

What we're looking for

Reporting to the Studio Leads, we are seeking an Interior Designer with at least 3-4 years’ design experience within the luxury residential and commercial industry. You will deliver against multiple projects at one time, to set critical paths and budgets and will be responsible for managing your own workload. You will be required to work with the senior team on both interior architecture and FF&E aspects of projects providing creative designs, technical drawings, and specifications to support the overall design.

Experience & Qualifications

Project Deliverables
• Deliver creative design projects, alongside the other design team members.
• Translate design concepts into detailed presentations and supporting documentation.
• Produce full drawing packages to be reviewed by the senior team and issued to an architect or contractor for tender and construction.
• Confidence in working on all project stages in line with RIBA structure.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and the wider professional project teams.
• Accompany senior design team members to presentations with clients.
• Support the business in its day-to-day functions. Key Skills Required
• Fully proficient in Auto CAD, In Design and Photoshop. Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Free hand sketching all essential.
• Strong knowledge of both Interior Architecture and FF&E, with the technical understanding to support working across both sides of the business.
• Experience working on all aspects of IA & FF&E projects through all project stages from concept to completion.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of joinery and architectural detailing.
• Self-motivated, pro-active with ability to take initiative.
• Good team player, both assisting and supporting team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
