Senior Interior Designer (12-month FTC)
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with 7+ years design experience within the luxury residential and hospitality industry. During the 12 months fixed-term contract you will work closely with the Studio Lead collaborating to give design direction and delivery for multiple projects within your studio as well as show good project leadership skills to mentor more junior members of the team.

What we're looking for
- Together with the Studio Lead you will lead the creative direction following the clients brief, across all stages of the project.
- Inspire the team and bring new ideas to each project.
- Confidently communicate the design with the client to ensure a smooth sign off process.
- Responsible for recording design and specifications. Help manage other members of the project team to ensure you are delivering the project seamlessly.
- Responsible for research and selection of appropriate materials that fit within the concept design brief and budget.
- Build supplier relationships and look for creative and sustainable new approaches.
- Effectively communicate with external contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information to aid time management across each project and ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead and manage the junior team members.
Experience & Qualifications
Key Skills Required:
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA project stages and the FF&E Process.
- Flexible and open attitude to new ways of working.
- Self-motivated, pro-active with ability to take initiative.
- Good team player, both assisting and supporting team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Auto CAD, In Design, PhotoShop, Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Free-hand sketching.
