Our New London Lead
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Carpenter as Associate Director, leading our London office and further strengthening Sims Hilditch’s presence in the capital and internationally.
The son of an architect and an artist, Tom grew up surrounded by design - a foundation that naturally shaped his career. After beginning in Sydney under Thomas Hamel more than twenty years ago, he went on to hold senior roles across the Middle East and London, most recently heading up the Interior Design team at Linley. His portfolio spans prime private residences and landmark hospitality projects, bringing both creative rigour and commercial expertise to the team.
In his new role, Tom will focus on expanding our global reach and diversifying our project portfolio, championing Sims Hilditch’s work in London and internationally, alongside our enduring country house expertise. Collaborative and deeply client-led, he is passionate about delivering thoughtfully crafted homes that balance timeless British sensibility with the practicalities of modern living. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the studio as we continue to grow both in scale and ambition.
