Interior Design

Our studio specialises in interior design for country houses and city retreats. We are known for developing a classic style that draws inspiration from historical interiors of every period, infused with a light and fresh sensibility.

Working closely with our clients, our interior design team creates considered schemes that balance old with new - updating where necessary while embracing existing collections and sourcing antiques. The result is warm, welcoming spaces with the character and comfort of homes that have evolved beautifully over time.

Interior Architecture

When a property requires complete transformation, our interior architecture team reimagines the structure and flow of the home to support modern living. We refine layouts, improve spatial connections and enhance functionality, ensuring every element is tailored to your lifestyle.

From staircases and internal doors to cornicing and bespoke joinery, we consider every detail to create a cohesive, elegant interior - resulting in a home that feels timeless and effortlessly suited to the way you live.

Procurement Management

From fabrics and furniture to art and antiques, we source every element with care, working with makers and dealers who share our values. Meet The Team

Understanding the vision for your home is incredibly important to our team so, at the start of the process, we will work with you to consider the key foundations with which the design will be developed. This includes the location and setting of the property, understanding the architectural language and history of the exterior, and taking time to really consider your brief and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an interior designer?

An interior designer brings clarity, cohesion and expertise to the process of creating a home. We balance your ideas with our creativity to develop a considered design, manage sourcing and coordination and work closely with the wider project team to ensure everything is implemented as intended. The result is a home that feels thoughtful, beautiful and built to last.

What process do you follow?

We follow a clear but flexible process, guiding you through each stage while keeping the experience collaborative and enjoyable. We begin by understanding how you live, translate your brief into initial ideas and then develop a fully considered design across both interior architecture and decoration.

Can you phase a project?

For larger homes or renovation projects, we can develop a master design plan for the entire property, with implementation carried out in phases. This allows for flexibility in timing and investment.

Which locations do you cover?

We have studios in The Cotswolds and London and undertake projects across the UK and internationally. Our work is not limited by location, and we are experienced in managing projects remotely as well as on site. We've previously completed projects across the UK, Channel Islands, Europe and America.

Do you offer virtual or remote design services?

Yes, we offer virtual interior design services for clients who are unable to visit us in the studio, are based overseas, or would prefer a more flexible approach.

What budget should I allow for my project?

Budgets vary depending on the size of the space, the level of renovation involved, and the quality of furnishings required. To guide this, we draw on our historic £ per square foot data, allowing us to provide informed, realistic budget ranges from the outset. We also consider a hierarchy of spaces, helping to prioritise investment in key areas while maintaining a cohesive overall scheme.

During the initial consultation, we will discuss your priorities and establish a clear, considered budget aligned with the scope of the project. Our aim is always to design thoughtfully within your investment level, creating spaces that feel resolved, balanced and built to last.

How do you charge?

Every project is different, so our fees reflect the scope, scale and complexity of each. This usually begins with a design fee, covering the work required to develop the scheme - from spatial planning and initial drawings through to sourcing and specification.

Can you incorporate existing furniture into a scheme?

Absolutely. If you have pieces you love or would like to keep, we are always happy to incorporate them into the design. At the start of the project, we review your existing furniture and identify items that could work within the new scheme. These pieces can often be refreshed through reupholstery, refinishing or thoughtful styling, allowing them to sit comfortably alongside new selections.

As a certified B Corp, we believe in a more considered and responsible approach to interior design. Reusing and adapting existing furniture where possible helps reduce waste while ensuring meaningful pieces continue to have a place in your home.

How long does an interior design project take?

Timelines vary depending on the scale of the project. Smaller furnishing projects may take a few months from design through to installation, while larger homes or renovation projects typically require a longer timeframe, particularly where custom or made-to-order pieces are involved.

At the outset, we provide an estimated timeline and continue to keep you informed as the design and procurement stages progress, ensuring clarity at every step.

Do you work with architects and contractors?

Yes, we regularly collaborate with architects, builders and contractors as part of the design process.

For renovation or construction projects, we work closely with the wider team to ensure the interior design integrates seamlessly with the architecture and finishes. Clear communication and coordination help ensure the project progresses smoothly from concept through to completion.

Do you take on smaller projects?

We primarily focus on full-service projects. However, we occasionally take on smaller commissions depending on our availability.
