The Story
Chelsea Textiles is a family-run business, founded in 1990 by Mona Perlhagen, specialising in beautifully crafted textiles and home accessories inspired by antique embroidered fabrics. Created to complement traditional and classic interiors, the brand has earned a reputation within the interior design industry for exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail. Today, Chelsea Textiles is led by Mona and her daughter Jenny, working with private clients, interior design studios and leading luxury hospitality projects.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to timeless design, craftsmanship and elegant interiors. Conceived as a collection that balances beauty, versatility and practicality, each piece has been designed to sit effortlessly within both country houses and refined city interiors.
The Collection
Drawing inspiration from the intricate 18th-century faux bamboo furniture, this collection pays homage to the iconic designs of Swedish furniture maker Ephraim Ståhl. Each piece is meticulously crafted with subtle variations, ensuring a sense of individuality and character. Available in three thoughtfully curated colourways of trays in three sizes, waste paper baskets, boxes with and without lids and tissue boxes. The collection is designed to complement a wide range of interiors, effortlessly capturing the essence of refined, timeless living.
