Aboretum Cafe

Westonbirt Arboretum is renowned as a landscape of beautiful vistas and spectacular seasonal displays. We were delighted to be commissioned to design the interior for the café and restaurant at this historic location, where some planting dates back to the Victorian era.

As a popular tourist destination, it was important to create a comfortable, family friendly environment with longevity of both materials and aesthetic at its core.

In keeping with the magnificent landscape, the interior scheme was designed to invite the outdoors in through the use of soft tonal colours and natural materials including oak, granite and slate. Sharing tables and bench seating create a sociable environment, whilst lofty arched wooden ceilings, full length windows and simple hanging lanterns mimic the rustic woodland feel.
