Project Coordinator

Sims Hilditch is searching for a talented, motivated and highly organised Project Coordinator to join its Procurement team based in our design studio located five miles outside Bath.

We are incredibly proud to be known for our ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, fundamentally that is down to the efficiency of our procurement team. You will oversee the procurement ordering process, coordinating with suppliers and effectively ensure that projects come to life. We are looking for somebody who is highly organised, a logical thinker and a quick learner with excellent communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist the Procurement Managers in executing projects and ensure faultless implementation
  • Create budget documents for multiple projects
  • Compare prices, specifications and delivery options to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Act as a central point of contact for project-related communications
  • Manage the procurement process, generating purchase orders and coordinating deliveries
  • Create design schedules
  • Manage supplier database
  • Track milestones to ensure delivery of products
  • Create installation schedules, coordinating with contractors and storage facilities to ensure seamless project execution
  • Lead close-out of projects
  • Participate in training and development to improve knowledge of procurement practices

  • Ability to build relationships with suppliers
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or related field
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence
