    To deliver high quality, accurate and creative interior designs for private clients in line with the Sims Hilditch brand and design vision.  Ability to communicate clearly, take responsibility and manage client projects from initial design brief, concept boards, design development through to completion


    Effectively lead client individual design meetings and communication to both client and internal team

    Responsible for translating interior design concepts into creative designs, detailed working drawings, CAD, mood boards and other supporting documentation to fulfil both the brands design vision and clients brief

    Responsible for research and selection of appropriate materials that fit within the concept design brief and budget

    Effectively communicate with external contractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information to aid time management across each project

    Provide flexible support to senior design team and other interior designers across the business on day to day functions and client projects


    Proficient in AutoCAD

    Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines

    Flexible and open attitude to new ways of working


    Ability to take initiative in response to direction

    Good team player, both assisting and supporting team members

    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

    We are looking for an Interior Architect with luxury residential experience. Working principally on technical drawing packages, this role will cover all elements of interior architecture from drawing up floor plans, elevations and reflected ceiling plans to interior details such as bespoke joinery, custom furniture and architectural features. These will be developed ready to be issued for tender.


    You will be an Interior Architect with minimum 2-3 years of experience working on luxury residential projects for a London-based studio. To be considered for this role, you must be technically savvy with excellent CAD skills and be able to produce full sets of detailed drawing packages. You will also be able demonstrate you can work in all project stages and collaborate with different members of the team to achieve the desired result. You will be a self-motivated, articulate and enthusiastic team player.

    Sims Hilditch is an interior design practice situated 5 miles outside of Bath. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK's best luxury interior designers, in a beautiful Cotswold setting and studio surrounded by talented and creative people. This is a varied role including administration, studio support and assisting with day-to-day marketing.

    You need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to write clearly and concisely.


    Studio Team Assistant (40%)

    • Answer all incoming calls, take and listen to messages and forward on
    • Efficiently monitor the email address and forward on to appropriate team member
    • First port of call for incoming client enquiries, ensure new enquiries are fed through to the Senior Management team
    • Post brochures to clients on request
    • Organise and open daily post, incoming and outgoing UPS parcel services
    • Returnable sample log management
    • Responsible for office travel arrangements
    • Management of booking and organising client, supplier and industry personalities lunches
    • Work with Senior Management team to ensure timesheets are completed
    • Stock check and reorder stationery and office supplies as required
    • Organise staff birthdays including cards, ordering/wrapping gifts and cakes 

    Marketing (50%)

    • Monitor marketing material/supplies and request re-orders
    • Provide support for events and photoshoots
    • Assist with updating and maintaining the company’s websites via the CMS
    • Monitor and update social media channels
    • Researching new PR opportunities in line with the marketing strategy
    • Assist with PR requests
    • Support Communications Manager with marketing analysis reports 

    IT and Business Development (10%)

    • Secondary support for computer and phone issues
    • General office maintenance

    • Highly proactive, organised, accurate and efficient
    • Articulate with strong attention to detail
    • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
    • Proficient in Google Docs and Sheets
